Dia McCaughan, DPM, FACFAS

Dr. Dia McCaughan is a 2000 graduate of Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. She completed a two year surgical residency at Tenet-Elkins Park Hospital in Philadelphia, and is certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, the American Society of Podiatric Surgeons, and the Academy of Physicians in Wound Healing. She decided to open her own practice in September 2004, in Southern Lancaster County. She is well-trained in foot surgery and is certified in laser procedures for spider veins, tattoo removal, fungal nails, and plantar warts. Her interests are in sports medicine and diabetic foot care. She is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, Pennsylvania Podiatric Medical Association, and the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. She is licensed to practice medicine in Pennsylvania, Delaware, Florida, Minnesota, and North Carolina. Dr. McCaughan has given informative lectures regarding general podiatric and diabetic foot care to several local senior citizen groups.

Dr. McCaughan currently resides in Chester County, PA. She and her husband participate in several annual charity bike rides, triathlons (sprint to half-ironman distances), and local 5K/10K races. You may find her along a local running path or cycling along the Schuylkill River Trail throughout the year.
